Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan’s development and prosperity lie in Quaid-e-Azam’s political legacy. He called Muhammad Ali Jinnah a great leader who secured a separate homeland for Muslims despite difficult circumstances. Jinnah used his political insight and leadership to create Pakistan for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
On Quaid-e-Azam’s 77th death anniversary, the Prime Minister paid tribute to his unmatched political leadership and selfless national guidance. He said the nation remembers Jinnah’s tireless struggle to protect the political, religious, economic, and cultural rights of Muslims through an independent state.
Shehbaz Sharif said that under Jinnah’s leadership, Allah blessed Muslims with Pakistan — the world’s first Islamic ideological state. Despite huge challenges like mass migrations, limited resources, and administrative hurdles during partition, Jinnah laid a strong foundation for Pakistan and inspired confidence in the nation.
The Prime Minister highlighted that Quaid-e-Azam built Pakistan on clear principles such as religious freedom, equal rights, democracy, justice, and equality for minorities. He said Pakistan’s progress depends on collective efforts to become a truly developed and Islamic welfare state. Passing on Jinnah’s teachings to future generations is a shared responsibility.
Finally, Shehbaz Sharif urged the nation to renew its commitment to follow Quaid-e-Azam’s visionary leadership and principles of faith, unity, and discipline. He prayed that Allah elevate Jinnah’s status and guide Pakistan to walk the path shown by its founder.
