BAGH: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari once again urged upon Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to step down from his position following allegations about his role in the corruption rampant in the country, saying he wants a transparent probe into the Panama leaks.
“I demand you [PM Nawaz] to go home and conduct a transparent inquiry into the Panama Papers revelations,” he said while addressing a PPP public gathering in Bagh, Azad Kashmir, on Tuesday.
Bilawal also took the premier to task for what he said jeopardising the issue of Kashmir by building his association with Indian Prime Minister NarendraModi.
He went on to say that the days of the rulers were numbered and that they will have to step down soon.“Mr prime minister you attended PM Modi’s oath-taking ceremony and forgot about the massacre of Muslims in Gujarat,” the PPP leader said, adding, “The premier tarnished the foreign policy of Pakistan by giving Modi his certificate of friendship.”
According to him, no ruler in the past inflicted as much damage to the Kashmir cause by standing alongside the Indian premier.He said the occupied territory witnessed the worst atrocities during the current regime.“Even if a pigeon crosses the border from Pakistan, it is considered an agent but our premier becomes silent when agents of RAW are nabbed from the Pakistan.”
