LAHORE: Pakistan’s former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will leave for London on Thursday to tend to his unwell wife and NA-120 election winning candidate,Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.
The ex-Prime Minister will board flight PK757 of the Pakistan International Airlines at 11am and will be accompanied by his secretary Hanif Abbasi.
This will be Nawaz Sharif’s second visit to London, after his wife was diagnosed with Lymphoma (Lymph node cancer) on August 22.
The date of return on the former premier’s ticket is January 4, 2018.
Nawaz Sharif left for London on August 30 after his wife was diagnosed with lymphoma and came back to the country to appear before the accountability court for the SC directed corruption cases against him.
After making his appearance, a member of the former PM’s legal team briefed media about the adjournment of his hearing until October 9.
